Curious about weddings at The Barn at King Hill Farm? Unclear about our services or the vendors we work with? We’re here to help. Below you’ll find some frequently asked questions we receive from many of our clients. We’ve tried to answer all of your questions and concerns, but please get in touch if you still can’t find what you’re looking for. One of our staff members will be sure to help you out.
Is the Venue Heated or Cooled?
Yes, the barn is both heated and cooled.
There are two AC units and two ten-foot ceiling fans.
How many events do you have per day?
We only have one event per day.
You have exclusive use of the property, on the day of the event.
Can we use our own caterer?
We have a preferred list of caterers, but we are open to talking with anyone you may want to use.
They must be professionals and have liability insurance.
Can we have fireworks or sparklers?
Fireworks are not allowed.
Sparkers are allowed in front of the barn, past the sidewalk.
Can we have a live band or DJ?
Yes, you can have either one. The barn is on the back of the farm, so it is private.
The property has no neighbors or highway noise.
You can begin decorating at 9:00 am
on the morning of the event.
What time can we start decorating?
When must the event end?
All events must end by 11:00 pm.
The music must be off before then.
Where are the wedding ceremony sites?
Outside in the perennial garden, in front of the old oak trees.
Inside in front of the big barn doors.
Do you supply ice for the event?
There is an ice machine to help the caterers keep up with demand.
That is the only ice we supply.
Can we provide our own alcohol?
You must use one of our preferred bartending services.
We do not allow anyone to provide their own alcohol.
